วิธีการติดตั้งเกม

1. Extract ไฟล์เกม แล้วรันไฟล์ start.exe เลือกภาษา English จากนั้นกด Install

2. ใส่ Serial key ดังนี้ EQMV-73XB-F8J4-GSLX-4M67 แล้วรอติดตั้งจนเสร็จ

3. ไปที่ Folder No-DVD คัดลอกไฟล์ Sims.exe ไป Replace ที่ตำแหน่งติดตั้งเกม

C:\Program Files (x86)\Maxis\The Sims

4. กด Play เลือก Resolution เพื่อเริ่มเล่นเกม

วิธีเปลี่ยนเป็นภาษาไทย

1. รันไฟล์ TH_Thai.reg (Windows 64 bit only)

2. กด Yes เพื่อยืนยัน

3. เสร็จสิ้น

วิธีแก้ปัญหา Fatal error! the default graphics card doesn't support Thousands of Colors.

1. ไปที่ This PC > Windows (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Maxis > The Sims 

2. คลิกขวาที่ Sims.exe > Properties

3. เลือก tab Compatibility 

4. ติ๊ก Compatibility mode เลือก Windows 7

4. ติ๊ก Reduced color mode เลือก 16 bit (65,536) color

5. ติ๊ก Run this program as administrator จากนั้น OK

วิธีแก้ปัญหาเกมรันไม่เต็มหน้าจอ หรือ Windows mode

1. คลิกขวาที่ Sims.exe > Properties

2. เลือก tab Shortcut

3. ในช่อง Target ใส่ -r1024x768 ต่อท้าย  จากนั้น OK

หมายเหตุ: ใส่ -r 1920x1080 หากใช้จอ Full HD แต่ UI ของเกมส์จะเล็กกว่าปกติ แนะนำให้ลองเลือก resolution ที่เหมาะสมกับจอครับ
